A painting lets us a glimpse a moment – but a sculpted head can capture a likeness from all angles. Each of Tim’s heads begins with a consultation and photoshoot. He then meticulously models the bust in clay, before taking a silicone mould; the final work can then be cast in a variety of materials (Tim often uses Jesmonite or resin), tailored for indoor or outdoor display, and finished in a range of patinas.
